서기 80년 티투스 황제 때 완공된 로마 제국 최대의 원형 경기장입니다. 수용 인원 약 5만~8만 명에 달하며, 지하 통로·엘리베이터·차양막 등 현대 스타디움의 원형이 된 혁신적 구조를 갖추고 있습니다. 1980년 유네스코 세계문화유산에 등재되었습니다.
