1220년경 완공된 프랑스 고딕 건축의 정수로 평가받는 대성당입니다. 176개의 창에 설치된 중세 스테인드글라스가 거의 원형 그대로 보존된 유일한 고딕 성당으로, 샤르트르 블루로 불리는 독특한 파란빛이 유명합니다. 1979년 유네스코 세계문화유산에 등재되었습니다.
