Narrative

An energy-membrane-based habitation space capable of withstanding ice-planet and ultra-high-pressure environments. It has almost no solid walls; a powerful plasma field pushes water away to secure the interior volume. A "gravity-neutralisation field" reduces indoor gravity to roughly 0.5 g, letting residents glide through rooms as if swimming. Furniture floats in mid-air; at mealtimes, molecularly processed nutrient liquids drift as suspended droplets. Beyond the transparent boundary, deep-sea lightning flickers in kilometres of absolute darkness.
