기원전 447~438년 아테나 여신을 위해 건립된 고전 그리스 건축의 정점입니다. 착시를 교정하기 위한 미묘한 곡선 기둥 46개가 배치된 구조는 2,500년이 지난 지금도 서양 건축의 이상으로 추앙받습니다. 1987년 유네스코 세계문화유산에 등재되었습니다.
